Time to see what the hype is about. I had hoped to do a rum based cocktail in homage to Hamilton’s origins but alas in a fit of bad planning I finished by Black Seal rum last week. I’ll let the reader insert their own pun regarding disposal of a small measure of alcohol.

• 3/4 oz Sweet Vermouth
• 1/4 oz Maraschino
• 1/4 oz Amaro
