Being a fan of both bourbon and the Old Fashioned, this riff in the Death & Co book caught my eye. I’ve found that when muddling I need slightly more then listed in a recipie so I used almost a half a tangerine. The tangerine gives this a nice brightness.

• 2 oz Bourbon
• 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
• 1/4 Tangerine
• 2 Dash Orange Bitters
